Located in Trafalgar, Nova Scotia, the 15-Mile Gold Project will contain four open pits on sites where historic mining took place. The life of mine production would be 11 years with over ten years for reclamation activities. Gold will be processed on site, which means fewer trucks on the road. St Barbara is undertaking environmental studies now, which will contribute to an environmental assessment report.
Working at 15-Mile means good paycheques, bonuses and benefits all while being able to live and travel from nearby communities like Sheet Harbour, New Glasgow and Stellarton.
