The 15-Mile Processing Hub combines three mine sites where historic mining took place. The life of mine production would be 11 years with over 10 years for reclamation activities. Gold will be processed at the 15-Mile Mine Site (main processing hub) and the Beaver Dam and Cochrane Hill Satellite Sites will act as quarries, transporting ore to 15-Mile. St Barbara is continuing environmental studies, which will contribute to an environmental assessment report.
Working for the 15-Mile Processing Hub means good paycheques, bonuses and benefits all while being able to live and travel from nearby communities like Sheet Harbour, New Glasgow and Stellarton.
